Carol Cheng BS, CSCS, LMT
Strength & Conditioning Specialist · Licensed Massage Therapist
Carol Cheng combines the science of strength and conditioning with the sensitivity of therapeutic bodywork to help clients develop a stronger, more capable, and more confident relationship with movement.
With a background in physiology, athletic performance, and massage therapy, Carol has worked with people across a wide spectrum of ability and experience. Her work with the climbing community has given her a particular appreciation for the demands of technical movement and specialized strength, while her experience with professional rugby has deepened her understanding of contact sports, athletic resilience, and high-performance environments.
Carol also brings extensive experience in personal training and group fitness, allowing her to meet clients wherever they are in their journey—from those pursuing athletic performance to those simply wanting to feel better in their everyday lives. Her approach is thoughtful, empathetic, and grounded in the belief that excellent training should enhance life, not complicate it. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals, movement history, and individual needs before creating a path forward.
Carol earned her B.A. in Physiology from the University of Minnesota, became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
At Flow State, Carol brings together strength, movement, and therapeutic care to help clients move through life with greater ease, confidence, and physical capacity.
